Phil Dorrell has over 30 year‟s retail experience working in the UK for Safeway and Asda. He has held positions from Regional Management responsible for over £340M a year, Head of Central Operations and latterly Head of In-store Marketing for Asda. Phil‟s diverse experience gives him a clear perspective on both store operations, branding and marketing. Having helped Asda become the best value retailer in the UK he is keen to pass on his expertise to help smaller businesses grow sales profitably.

Phil is passionate about the customer experience and the need to understand their needs and deliver it consistently. A keep fit enthusiast he is never too far from a “big run” and is a huge Rugby Union fan.

James McGregor is a retail professional with over 20 years experience working for Asda in the UK and globally for Wal-Mart. James was ultimately responsible for the retail operations of the George clothing brand internationally, having worked in such diverse markets as the Far East and South America. He has built a big reputation for operational improvement that delivers better customer advocacy that increases sales and profit.

James is passionate about planning and every day low cost delivery. In his spare time James works with Community Business Partners as a mentor to micro businesses or cycling around Lancashire, attacking the Pennine Hills.

Trudy Hillsstarted her career working for Procter and Gamble in a wide range of sales and sales marketing roles within the UK, Ukraine and Poland. Following this, she moved to Asda as the General Manager for Health and Beauty. There she managed a £750 million business with responsibilities for supplier negotiation, category management, product selection, pricing, promotions and all profit aspects of her P&L. Trudy is passionate about understanding and meeting customer needs and delivering against all commercial requirements. When not at work she can be found on the squash court, in her greenhouse or trying to keep up with her young daughter.

Eugene Gallagheris a Chartered Marketer and a retail professional with 17 years experience working for ASDA in the UK. He has held a variety of senior positions from Head of Customer Research, Head of Non-Food Formats, launching ASDA Living and latterly working in the e-commerce area as Program Director for Wal-Mart’s Global eCommerce team and Head of ASDA Direct – ASDA’s on-line General Merchandise business. Eugene is passionate about focusing on customer needs to deliver business growth. His spare time appears to be taken up taxiing his 3 kids to various activities but he does find time to go running and practice yoga.

Colin Gore is a logistics professional with over 30 years experience working for Marks and Spencer in the UK and globally for both Adidas (UK) Limited and Helly Hansen BV. Colin has always been a hands on manager who initiated and implemented adidas‟ first pre-retail operation in Singapore, moving onto further centre‟s in Jakarta and Bangkok. Whilst working in The Netherlands for Helly Hansen he was responsible for the installation of a Bonded Customs DC facility in the European warehouse located in Limburg.

When he is not travelling overseas, Colin can be found working in his spare time for The Princes Trust, mentoring young business "new-starts" or in the summer months on the golf course.
