From an independent audit our client identified that it was delivering less than 50% size availability in certain categories of its apparel division and therefore required a simple and cost effective availability tool to drive store improvements
 

Approach


Working with our client we were able to:

 

  • Identify the impact that each element of the supply chain had over customer availability
  • Identify when each task should be performed to optimise customer service
  • Design a store process for availability tracking
  • Produce a toolkit for stores to deliver full customer availability


Results


Within 6 weeks of our recommendations being implemented store controllable availability had reached an average of 98.2% and delivered a sales growth of £12m per annum.
